The Chocolate Lilies is a local Acapella community choir formed in 1994 by its Director Nerida Kirov. The choir is named after a local purple and black wildflower that smells like chocolate (botanical name: Dichopogon strictus). The aims of the choir are to provide a supportive environment for people to develop their singing ability and a sense of belonging to the community; to strengthen community links, and to have fun. Our music is an eclectic blend of world music, gospel, contemporary and original material, developing a beautiful soulful sound with rich divine harmonies.
The voices…..the sound…. You stop to exist, all there is, is the song….. ah, Nirvana!
